Introduction to Drawing
This course explores the following skills, themes, and activities in an environment
appropriate for the beginner artist:
+ gesture
+ capturing form through line and shape
+ composition
+ color and expression
+ perspective
+ figure drawing
+ still life
+ landscape and representation of nature
+ work in charcoal, pencil, and mixed media
Introduction to Printmaking
This is a hands-on, techniques based course in which the the following processes are introduced:
+ woodcut and linoleum printing
+ stamping using natural and organic materials
+ rubbings and texture creation
+ stencil and the creation of an editioned print series
Drawing Workshop
Classes are tailored to suit individual and group requirements. All skill levels are welcome.
Classes and private instruction are currently being scheduled for fall and winter 2010.
